This movie is a travesty, and an abuse of the artistic trust we put into the creators of the film. Please read our Declaration of Protest!!

We agreed to make this movie and trusted the filmmakers to treat us with respect, but they have gone and made us look like imbeciles!

DECLARATION OF PROTEST

Artists and patrons unite! If Art and Truth mean anything to you, join us NOW in our boycott of Omni Dazzle Pictures; its programming, merchandise, and anything else associated with this leviathan of corruption. As you are aware, they have released a movie titled Come Fly With Me Nude, a “zany comedy” supposedly about us. What you don’t know is WE DID NOT AGREE TO ANY OF THIS!

Omni Dazzle programming director Dick McMannan approached us last summer to make a documentary about our lives as artists, the creative process, and how the two dovetail into our Art. How thrilled we were that FINALLY someone wanted to make an honest, in-depth exploration into the Artist’s World. We let Mr. McMannan into our lives. We let him read our journals! We trusted this man. And we live to regret it.

They asked us to participate in recreations of actual events in our lives (apparently this is quite common in Reality TV shows). But until this whole fresh hell began, we’d never even heard the term “Reality TV”. Naively, we trusted them. Well, a lot can happen in the editing room. Hours of interviews, live performances, and our actual creative process allegedly were deemed “lame” by Omni Dazzle’s test audience. So what was left? Nothing but those silly recreations. THEY LIED TO US! They never intended to tell The Truth! It was just their way to get us to agree to sign on to this colossal falsehood!

Much as we are appalled by the release of this movie, the cruel irony is that the only way we can mount this mighty battle against Omni Dazzle is if you actually see the movie. Only then do we get paid, and protests cost money, we are fast learning. We’re not looking to capitalize on our experience of being exploited. We want only one thing: an apology from Mr. Dick McMannan himself, the man who looked us in the eye and shook our hands and promised to “honor the purity of the artist’s soul”.
